The Amethyst Mine is situated near Thunder Bay, Ontario and these beautiful crystals are plentiful at this mine. This mine was first discovered in 1955 and production began in 1960. You can tour the Amethyst Mine in Ontario where you will find a large amount of amethyst deposit and a dig for your own Amethyst is an exciting adventure.
