Annapolis Royal Lighthouse Nova Scotia Canada

In the oldest part of Canada in the town of Annapolis Royal in Nova Scotia, stands an actively working wooden lighthouse dating back to 1889.

An old, white wooden lighthouse with a red lantern, stands along the waterfront in the downtown area of Annapolis Royal in the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada. The tower stands at a height of 28 feet and has stood on these shores since 1889.

The lighthouse is still operational today, actively aiding vessels across these waters as well as being the tourist information centre for Annapolis Royal. The light is only visible for 8 nautical miles, but it is still a very needed structure along this coastline.
