A dirt road, typical in the farmland region of the Big Muddy Badlands in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada, is a beautiful place to be driving during the sunset hours. Across the horizon, a sunset highlights the sky in soft yellow, pink, blue and orange hues as thin wisps of clouds scatter themselves above the road.
The soil along the dirt road and the farmland landscape is very arid, a fairly isolated place nowadays which is mainly used for farming and tourism. In the 19th century, the trails were used by outlaws running from the law as one could easily reach Canada through to Mexico and this area was part of the route.
The Big Muddy Badlands is located along the edge of Big Muddy Creek in the Big Muddy Valley where the landscape seems to span for miles. Every sunset over this prairie landscape is different and can adorn the sky in stunning colors.
