A blacksmith in his shop shows visitors to the Sherbrooke Village Museum in Nova Scotia, Canada a demonstration of his work.

A blacksmith works hard in his shop as he gives tourists to Sherbrooke Village Museum in Nova Scotia, Canada, a demonstration of his daily work. The blacksmith makes ironwork for the restoration of the Sherbrooke Village and pieces can be bought in the store.

Since the 1870's, the blacksmith shop has been operating where farm tools, carts, plows, tools and horse shoes were once made. Visitors find the demonstrations put on by the blacksmith very informative and interesting.

Blacksmith at Joe McLane Blacksmith, plying metal at the forge in Sherbrooke Village Museum (a restored 1860's lumbering and shipbuilding community) in the town of Sherbrooke along the Marine Drive, Highway 7, Nova Scotia, Canada. The blacksmith shop was first opened in 1844 and they still do custom work for the community.
