The veins throughout the leaves on the cabbage plant are very prominent in the sunlight in this picture taken at the Ornamental Vegetable Garden at the Montreal Botanical Garden in Montreal, Quebec. The Savoy cabbage leaves grow loosely around the head and are dark green to light green in color. This cabbage is a type which is classified as one of the best for eating, but they can sometimes be a little finicky to perfect in the garden.
