Cape Spear Lighthouse St Johns


The Cape Spear lighthouse sits at the most easterly point of land in North America near St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada.

The Cape Spear lighthouse has been declared as a National Historic Site and it is the oldest surviving lighthouse in the Newfoundland region. Since the middle of the 1800's this lighthouse at Cape Spear has helped many mariners through tough waters around St Johns and today you will find that it has been restored to its original look, lighthouse keeper and all.
