Coronach Town Welcome Sign Saskatchewan Canada


While traveling through Southern Saskatchewan near Regina, you will come to this unique welcome sign at the town of Coronach.

A small town named Coronach is located near the US Border, just west of Highway 6 from Regina in Southern Saskatchewan. As you near the town, visitors will see the welcome sign which displays a crane, a grain elevator and a horse.

The horse on the sign is a symbol of one which won the Epson Derby and when Coronach was founded by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1926, English settlers named the town after the horse. In the town, visitors can explore the Outlaw Caves, native burial sites or partake in the festivities during July when the Coronach Agricultural Fair is held or the Poplar River Rodeo in September.
