The red and white lighthouse that sits amongst the greenery of Covehead Bay in Queens, Prince Edward Island was built in 1967 and is clearly visible along the Blue Heron Coastal Drive. A plaque on the exterior of the Covehead Lighthouse explains the Yankee Gale and remembers those who did not make it out of the storm.
