At sunset, just before the sun dips below the buttes and cliffs in the Big Muddy Badlands in Saskatchewan, Canada, a bright yellow circle highlights the fiery ball and makes the farmland some of the prettiest as it glows in yellow hues. Most of the farmland across the Big Muddy Badlands has been abandoned over the years, once being the main source of income for each family who tried to keep up with the lifestyle.
Between the farmland, a dirt road allows visitors to the Big Muddy Badlands in Southern Saskatchewan, a route to follow while exploring this unique landscape. This landscape was used as an escape route or hiding place for many famous outlaws as the Northwest Mounted Police hunted them down and has become more of a popular tourist attraction as people become more interested in learning the history of Southern Saskatchewan.
Sunset is one of the prettiest times of day in the Big Muddy Badlands, especially on the days when the farmland, buttes and cliffs become yellow shaded from the intense sun.
