As the Petit Princess ferry makes its daily journey between Digby Neck and Long Island in the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada, the buildings in the town of Tiverton are highlighted in the backdrop. The Petit Princess ferry has made this crossing since 2004 when it officially joined the fleet, creating a smoother form of transportation for the residents of Long Island trying to reach the mainland.
A total of 24 cars can board the Petit Princess ferry on a single trip, along with 95 passengers. Named after the passage the ferry crosses, the Petit Princess replaces the smaller ferry, the Joshua Slocum built in 1974.
