Foggy Pack Ice Belle Isle Strait Newfoundland


Large chunks of pack ice float through the Strait of Belle Isle in Newfoundland, Canada but the foggy days can make them hard to see.

Travelling through the waters around Newfoundland, Canada when pack ice fills the Strait of Belle Isle is near impossible but on foggy days, it becomes impossible. Standing along the shores of Sandy Cove, you can see the formation of the pack ice through the fog, but you can not get a clear picture of its true size.
