Atop a cliff overlooking the Chignecto Bay along the Fundy Coastal Drive in New Brunswick, Canada, the Cape Enrage Lighthouse keeps the waters safe for passing vessels. Standing at a height of 150 feet above the water, visitors can enjoy the scenery and tour the lighthouse building which is the oldest one found throughout New Brunswick.
The tides in the Bay of Fundy are massive which can make travel for boats or ships extremely dangerous. The Cape Enrage lighthouse was a necessity and the beacon has been shining across the waters since 1848.
