A rare bird that is becoming harder to find, is the Hyacinth Macaw. A deep blue coloring, detailed markings and the size of this parrot make it the largest and most distinctive in its family. This Hyacinth Macaw was easy to spot as he perched upon a roost in the Tropical Forest at the Biodome de Montreal in Montreal, Quebec.
