Icy Hudson Bay Coastline Polar Bear Churchill Manitoba

The coastline of the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba has become very icy, making this region paradise for a Polar Bear looking for food in the winter.

The coastline of the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba has finally taken on its winter appearance, making the icy shores ideal for a Polar Bear. The rough icy ridges make it difficult for humans to trek across, but this landscape is what a Polar Bear is accustomed to. Sharp claws, paws which can be 12 inches across, five toes on each foot and a rough pad on the bottom provides the right consistency for a Polar Bear to easily walk across the icy surface.

Keeping an ear open and being on watch for any unusual sounds or movements, the Polar Bear is a force which should never be reckoned with especially during the onset of winter when hunger is their first concern.
