Located below the Jacques Cartier Bridge in the City of Montreal, Quebec, is the La Ronde Amusement Park. Just as night begins to settle in around Montreal, the lights on the bridge and the amusement park become illuminated and their reflections twinkle across the surface of the water.
The Jacques Cartier Bridge crosses the Saint Lawrence River from Montreal Island in Montreal, Quebec to Longueuil, Quebec for 3,400 meters. Used daily by thousands of cars, the Jacques Cartier Bridge provides easy access to the La Ronde Amusement Park. Since 1930, the bridge has crossed this waterway and is always a beautiful sight to see at night when the lights are lit.
The La Ronde Amusement Park is the second largest throughout Canada which is visited by over 2.5 million people annually and is situated on Saint Helen's Island. Six Flags owns and operates the amusement park which covers 146 acres of land and is home to about 39 hair raising rides. Many people find the La Ronde Amusement Park a great place to be at night as the lights are illuminated in various colors which always seem to be moving and flashing around you.
