Last Mountain Lake Gravel Road Qu Appelle Valley Saskatchewan


The beautiful scenery of Last Mountain Lake in the Qu'Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan, Canada is breathtaking from the gravel road running above the shoreline.

Visitors to the Qu'Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan, Canada can travel along the gravel road which overlooks Last Mountain Lake towards Pelican Point. From the gravel road, the lake appears peaceful but on many summer days, motor boats, sailboats and fishing boats are seen scattered across the surface. The beaches are a play area for those who love tanning, swimming, sandcastle building and other beach activities.

Last Mountain Lake spans a distance of about 70 kilometers in length, about 2 kilometers at its widest point and is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Regina. Every year, more people are journeying along this gravel road to Pelican Point and other lakeshore regions as the beauty of the Qu'Appelle Valley has an aura about it that people cannot turn down.

Pelican Point is located on a section of land which juts out into Last Mountain Lake. There is about 20 permanent residents which reside here and enjoy the year round scenery of the Qu'Appelle Valley.
