Summer is all about fun and that is what many vacationers do while spending their holidays at Last Mountain Lake in the Qu'Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan, Canada. Along the beach there are many different activities happening all which are within a close proximity of the campgrounds. People bring out their umbrellas for shade, floating devices to romp around on in the lake, sunscreen to avoid a sunburn, towels for swimming and beach toys while others have boats for fishing, water skiing or tubing.
Last Mountain Lake is the perfect summer getaway filled with sandy beaches found along the shores of this 70 kilometers long lake. For those who are not partial to the summer sun and the beach activities, there are many nature trails and tourist attractions nearby.
Some of them include the Bird Observatory, the Foothills Bison Ranch, the Last Mountain Historic Park along with museums, shops, restaurants and cafes.
