Louisbourg Light Cape Breton Nova Scotia


The white structure with the red lantern that adorns the entrance to the Louisbourg Harbour in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is known as the Louisbourg Light.

The Louisbourg Light that sits at the entrance to the Louisbourg Harbour in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia was the first lighthouse station erected throughout Canada. The light that is currently in place was constructed in 1923 and flashes white for a second every ten seconds.
