Mary's Harbour in Southern Labrador is a small town of approximately 475 people who have relied on the fishing industry as a means of livelihood for many years. Once home to a salmon fishery around the 1780's, the crab processing plant which runs today employs many of the town's residents.
From the Battle Harbour Ferry, passengers can admire the charm of Mary's Harbour where fishing boats line the wharf awaiting their departure. The ferry leaves the Grenfell Mission Wharf in Mary's Harbour twice daily for Battle Harbour during the summer months.
