The replica of the Matthew, a ship sailed by John Cabot, is moored along the dock in Bonavista, Newfoundland.

While visiting the Bonavista Peninsula, Newfoundland, be sure to take a trip on the replica of the famous ship, the Matthew, which was sailed by John Cabot when he discovered Newfoundland. Back in 1997, the replica of The Matthew, followed the same journey which Cabot took in 1497, starting in Bristol and landing up in Newfoundland.
