Situated in front of the Legislative Building in the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a beautiful fountain which is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the scenery. During the summer nights, the central fountain in Memorial Park is illuminated, displaying a show of colorful lights.
Numerous fountains shoot skywards in this massive pool of water, with the centre fountain being the largest. Large squares of cement create a unique design around the fountain as flowers and shrubs grow in the well cared for gardens which are situated around the park.
While sitting in Memorial Park, the fountain creates a misty view of the top half of the Legislative Building while the trees encompassing the park block out the bottom half. The lush green grass, flourishing trees and the sound of the water dropping from the peaks of the fountains into the pool below is all the beauty one needs while strolling through Memorial Park in the City of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.
