Modern day large cylinder inland terminals stand on either side of the brightly painted orange tower at the grain elevators in the town of Morse, Saskatchewan in Canada. A mass amount of grain is exported out of Saskatchewan at various grain elevators around the province with the process starting at one of these plants where the grain is cleaned, weighed and stored.

At one time, there were about 3200 grain elevators throughout Saskatchewan, but with the modernized cylinders being able to hold more grain and the entire process being faster, the numbers of grain elevators have dropped to around 300.
