Norseman Aircraft Red Lake Ontario Water Taxi

A great way to visit the wilderness of Red Lake, Ontario is to charter a water taxi and fly in aboard a Norseman aircraft.

A Norseman aircraft taxis on the water of Red Lake where tranquility surrounds you in the most northwesterly community in Ontario. A Norseman is a single engine bush plane which was first flown in November of 1935 and designed by Robert Noorduyn, a gentleman from the Netherlands.

Some of the Norseman aircrafts are seaplanes while others have wheels which fly into the Red Lake Airport, but both types of planes are a great form of transportation. Chimo Air Service flies these aircrafts taking visitors to the remote wilderness areas of Northern Ontario where fishing lodges and outposts are located.
