Northern Gannets Birds Avalon Peninsula Newfoundland


Thousands of Northern Gannets nest upon Bird Rock at the Cape St Mary's Ecological Reserve on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland Labrador.

During the breeding season, Bird Rock on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland Labrador is home to about twenty-four thousand Northern Gannets. Bird Rock stands about one hundred meters high and the Northern Gannets can be seen by visitors to the area as close as ten meters.
