The current lighthouse at Peggy's Cove was built in 1915 replacing the original wooden structure and has become one of the most picturesque and popular places for tourists to see while visiting Nova Scotia, Canada.
During this sunset, the sky is aglow is soft pastel colors as the moon jumps ahead of schedule before darkness and shows off its shape over the water at St. Margarets Bay. Peggy's Cove Lighthouse was operated by lighthouse keepers but they lost their jobs in 1958 when the lighthouse became automated.
