John Cabots Ship Bonavista Newfoundland

The unique shaped blue and red building in Bonavista, Newfoundland is a storage home for the Matthew, a replica of John Cabot's ship that he sailed in 1497.

Along the waterfront in the town of Bonavista, Newfoundland, you can view the replica of the Matthew ship at the Matthew Legacy Site. During the winter months, the replica of John Cabot's ship is put into storage where it can easily be safe from any fierce winter storms.
