Plane Wreck Miss Piggy Churchill Manitoba

The remains of a plane wreck known as the Miss Piggy, sits on the shores of the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba.

Back in 1979, the Curtiss C-46 named Miss Piggy due to the fact of the amount of cargo it could carry including a cargo of pigs, crashed atop a rocky cliff on the shores of the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba. This plane wreck has been resting here since that horrible day in November of 1979 and many tourists that visit Churchill, Manitoba travel along the back roads to see the remains of the plane.
