A Screeching In Ceremony is an event held at the Tuckamore Lodge in Main Brook, Newfoundland which is put on by a Newfoundland Band. Screechers is not what everybody does when they yell but instead a Screech is a rum shooter that must be drunk with a morsel of fish. Screech shooters must be downed in one gulp and this is just the beginning of the ceremony that leads one to be able to earn the Screechers certificate.
