Slade Hart Residence Heritage Home Trinity

On the slope of the hill, the Slade/Hart Residence, a heritage home, overlooks the town of Trinity in the Bonavista Peninsula in Newfoundland, Canada.

High on the hill looking over the community of Trinity in Newfoundland, Canada, sits a heritage home, the Slade/Hart residence. Around 1840, an important merchant in the town of Trinity had this house built and twenty years later, in 1860, it was sold to William Hart who represented the Ryan family.

As the years passed, the property was sold a few times until 1925 when Frederick Walters owned it. After the death of Walters, the house has been in the possession of the O'Dea's and it is still used as a private home today. In November of 1989, the Slade/Hart Residence became a Registered Heritage Structure.
