Sod huts built along the waterfront in the town of L'Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland Labrador in Canada.

Sod huts that line the waterfront of L'Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland Labrador date back many years to the Viking days. The Vikings built three timber and sod longhouses along with five smaller buildings and they have since been reconstructed for visitors to be able to see.
