The water starts to flow across the surface of an iceberg which floats aimlessly about in the Strait of Belle Isle in Southern Labrador during its melting process. Ice chunks slowly start to break away from this iceberg which only has a few remaining pieces emerging above the surface of the water.
The base of this iceberg could sit many feet below the water as what once started as a massive piece of ice, has taken a long time to reach this point where very little of it is left. The wind, rain and water have sculpted this iceberg, changing its shape daily as it continues on until it has finally disintegrated.
An aerial view of an iceberg allows one to get a different perspective as the entire ice mass can be seen while soaring above. This iceberg could be 10,000 years old as it broke free from a glacier in Greenland and has been on its journey for at least 2 or 3 years until finally reaching the Strait of Belle Isle in Southern Labrador, Canada.
