When you stroll around the massive light of the Walton Lighthouse in the town Walton, Nova Scotia, the scenery of the Minas Basin is spectacular. The Minas Basin is the southern part of the upper section of the Bay of Fundy and is made up of intertidal mud or sand flats with the water visible in sections as it meanders its way around the landscape.
