Crows Nest Matthew Legacy Site Newfoundland

A flag flies in the breeze over the crow's nest on the ship Matthew at the Matthew Legacy Site in Bonavista in Newfoundland, Canada.

This crow's nest sits atop the replica ship of the Matthew that was sailed by John Cabot in 1497 where he supposedly landed in either one of two places, Bonavista or St. John's, Newfoundland. At the Matthew Legacy Site in Bonavista, Newfoundland, tourists can board the Matthew and take part in the special events that happen.
