Fort Walsh Sleeping Areas Saskatchewan Canada

Sleeping areas for members of the North West Mounted Police at Fort Walsh National Historic Site in Saskatchewan, Canada.

In one of the buildings at the Fort Walsh National Historic Site in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park in Saskatchewan, Canada, the sleeping areas have been reinvented from the early years of 1875. Two beds in each room, with a fur blanket for the cold weather and a shelf for personal belongings for each of the men who stayed here.

These sleeping areas were used by the North West Mounted Police when they were stationed at Fort Walsh for eight years from 1875 to 1883.
