Rain still buckets out of the sky above the City of Regina in Saskatchewan after a thunderstorm brings in some dark, grey clouds, but a glimpse of sunlight brings about the beauty of a rainbow. The colors of this rainbow are very prominent in this picture as it arcs above the city in hopes that the sky will eventually break free of the thunderstorm.
Seven colors are frequently seen by the human eye in a rainbow, some being more vibrant than others. This rainbow clearly shows the division of colors starting with red, then orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and ending with violet.
