Legislative Assembly Building New Brunswick

The Legislative Assembly Building in Fredericton, New Brunswick has been an important symbol of democracy since the year of 1882.

The Legislative Assembly Building has been declared a Provincial Historic Site which has been opened since 1882 and is located in the downtown core of Fredericton, New Brunswick. A previous building stood here as the Legislative Building, but a fire destroyed it and this unique three storey sandstone building with a mansard roof and corner towers replaced it.
